The Titan Turkey Burger (BBQ Turkey mushroom and swiss)

There is a growing demand for turkey meat because it is lean and healthier. As a result, we had to come up with the best burger recipe we could devise that is easy to make and still tastes out of this world, and we did it! This burger does not lack in taste and if your a turkey meat skeptic you may change your tune after trying this one! Enjoy!

Makes 9 Servings

 Ingredients:

3  Pounds of Ground Turkey Meat

1/4 Cup of Jack Daniels Master Blend BBQ Sauce

1 Cup of Italian Style Bread Crumbs

3 Teaspoons of McCormick's "Barbecue" Grill Mates Seasoning

2 Grade A Large Eggs

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey meat, Jack Daniel's Master Blend Barbecue Sauce and two eggs; mix well, making sure the meat is completely mixed in with sauce. Add in the bread crumbs and one teaspoon of McCormick's Barbecue Seasoning at a time as you mix until all dry seasoning is added and evenly mixed in.  Once ingredients are well blended, divide mixture into 9 equally portioned patties. Grill patties 4 inches from coals or on high heat, turning only once 6 to 9 minutes on each side or until cooked through (160 degrees F). Do not flatten burgers with spatula while grilling in order to keep the juices seared in the meat.We recommend topping this burger with mushrooms and a slice (or two) of swiss cheese on either a Ciabetta or Wheat bun. My teenage boys didn't even know they were eating turkey meat!
