The Buffalo Burger

Named after the unique flavor that comes from the Buffalo Bills region of the country in New York, this burger has a zing that is complimented by the other ingredients that make it a concert to be savored.

Makes 4 Servings

 Ingredients:

1 1/2  Pound of ground beef

1/2  Tablespoon of salt

1/2 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder

1/2 Tablespoon of Onion Powder

2 Tablespoons of McCormick Buffalo Wing seasoning (for a hotter burger add another 1/2 Tbs of Wing Seasoning and 1/2 Tbs of chili powder)

4 Tablespoons of dry crumbled Blue cheese

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix in 1 tbs at a time of McCormick buffalo wing seasoning; mix well. Once ingredients are well blended, divide mixture into 8 equally portioned balls; flatten each and place on a sheet of wax paper or a tray. Place 1 tbs of crumbled blue cheese in the middle area of 4 patties. Take the remaining 4 patties and place them over top of the patties holding the blue cheese. Pinch edges of patties together and tamp to form a seal. Grill patties 4 inches from coals or on high heat, turning only once 6 to 9 minutes on each side or until cooked through (160 degrees F). To keep cheese  inside patties and to keep the burger juicy on the inside, do not flatten burgers with spatula while grilling.
